Pat LaFontaine presented with an original Tony Capparelli painting during Televised Ceremony

December 13, 2025 — Elmont, New York — Internationally recognized sports and entertainment artist Tony Capparelli presented an original commemorative painting honoring hockey legend Pat LaFontaine during the New York Islanders Hall of Fame induction ceremony at UBS Arena. The presentation took place during the pre-game ceremony before the Islanders-Tampa Bay Lightning Game, as LaFontaine was officially inducted as the 17th member of the Islanders Hall of Fame. Capparelli’s painting commemorates LaFontaine’s extraordinary career with the franchise and prominently depicts his iconic overtime goal in Game 7 of the legendary “Easter Epic” playoff game against the Washington Capitals—one of the most celebrated moments in Islanders…and NHL history.
